My writing could use a lot of improvement but i am learning that if I take my time and re read what I have written. I do, so much better. Sometimes I have to get away from my work and come back. That really helps me a lot. Esp when you have kids. Getting there dinner done and then go back to your paper when you havens been working on it really helps. Organizations is what I really have trouble with. Organizing my thought can be very hard, i was trying to come up with a lot of ideas for my work for PTSD. I was writing and I couldn't find a direction that was interesting to me to head in. So I tried another turn into what most people have these days. If your sad and don't know why your depressed. If you have mood swings your depressed. I began to wonder if they just tell you that your depressed and give you meds because one they get paid for everyone how is on medications and two just to get you out of there hair. I have wondered this often.

Hey Mackenzie, I like your methods of writing and taking a break or re reading your work to get the thooughts flowing. Your topic is such a huge area which is, I think, still being eveluated by the health professionals. It is true that we can't deny in our society there seems to be a wonder drug or magic pill for just about everything. I think in many cases or issues or conditions we should look back sometimes and see how our older generation handled the many things we face today be it illnesses, eating, social events, finances. There are so many conveniences we deem necessary that our parents and grandparents lived without and may I add happily lived without. Summing this up, things can't make us happy and they shouldn't make us sad. Truly evaluating and prioritizing our pursuit of happiness should show us what or who we need the most. I hope I didn't bore you or go too far off your post but I was just thinking heavily on your last statement about meds being given to so many people for so many reasons.
